Black is the eleventh episode of the seventh season of Arby 'n' the Chief.
Summary[]
Brody, the bullied online role-player who attends the same high school as Eugene and Tyler, approaches his friend Kyle in the pair's frequented server and offers a concerning proposition. Eugene and Arbiter chat privately; Eugene apologizes for he and Arbiter's earlier conflict over the use of the Fragban software patch, and an in-depth discussion follows revealing of the two's troubled lives and personal beliefs.
Plot[]
Brody meets up with Kyle, who has been "detained" for shooting players as a criminal as per the regulations of their RPG server. Brody tells Kyle that he saw Eugene give Tyler a USB drive, with files on it that they intend to use to cause significant damage. Brody goes on to explain that he snagged the USB drive, and duplicated its content for himself. Despite having no knowledge of what it is, more so fed up with Eugene's bullying, Brody promises to Kyle that they will pay with the software after what they've done to him. Kyle agrees to join him.
Meanwhile, Arbiter and Eugene meet back up. Eugene apologizes after his short yet heated disagreement with Arbiter about the use of the fragban software. Upon sharing their religious beliefs and current events in their lives, Arbiter asks about Madeline, whom Eugene says is in worse condition. After Arbiter tells Eugene about the hardships that he has put himself through only to get nothing in return, Eugene questions Arbiter's morality and opposition to using the hacks, and asks him to reconsider, leaving Arbiter to think for himself.
Arbiter leaves the game to check on Chief, who is asleep. Arbiter then pulls out Jon's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time case from the shelf, and pours out several cigarettes, which he smokes at the window.
