Blast Radius is the eighth episode of the seventh season of Arby 'n' the Chief.

Summary

The Arbiter, upset with Greg -- believing him to have helped Cortana mail herself away to a children's charity -- turns down his company in favor of playing online with the Chief and the duo's new friend, Eugene. The Chief struggles with nicotine withdrawal. Eugene and his trolling clan's co-moderators Tyler and Colin, now in possession of a new iteration of the Fragban software patch -- with the capability of issuing a console-level ban upon a fragged player -- begin wreaking havoc throughout the gaming network.

Plot

Following the demonstration of Fragban 2.0, Tyler makes Eugene and Colin promise that they will wait to begin wreaking havoc after he has required the file the next day. Later on, Eugene and Colin break their promise and frag several clan members in their server. At Jon's apartment, Arbiter is playing Sonic the Hedgehog while Chief resorts to smoking Lucky Charms, to which Arbiter expresses his disgust at and refuses to partake, saying that he was happy with his beer. While Chief gets "high", Arbiter reflects on the deterioration of their bodies, saying that he is no longer frightened as much as he was earlier.

The next morning, Chief scours the apartment in a panic in search of cigarettes after he has smoked all of them. Arbiter asks Chief if he can play Halo with him, saying that it could take his mind off of smoking and that Eugene could be online at the moment. As the two walk away, Greg asks if Arbiter could play Scrabble with him, to which he declines, leaving Greg by himself. In a server online, Arbiter and Chief talk with Eugene, who asks if he could trust them and it is implied that he will reveal the Fragban hacks. Meanwhile, Greg watches outside the window in solitude.
