Charlie was a 39 year old Halo 3 player that was on Master Chief's friends list.
During a revolt in Halo 3 as a result of a glitch causing people's armor permutations to disappear, he lost his katana permutation, but kept convincing himself that he still had it. Arbiter tried to talk sense into him (despite outright insulting him in multiple instances), only for him to go mad and point his magnum at him. It ended in a brawl between him and the two other players taking refuge with him. Chief threw himself into the mix, and Arbiter just stood by and watched, nearly leaving. Once another player said that a solution to the glitch was found, everyone calmed down, and the players went their separate ways; with Charlie calling Arbiter a "fucking asshole".
