Company (Part One)
Master Chief resorts to watching game strategy videos on the Xbox Live dashboard to increase his Halo 3 skills and after that plan fails miserably, a hacker takes advantage of Master Chief's emotional instability and makes him an offer he can't refuse.
Chief has become sick of people killing him in Halo 3 online. He is finally starting to realize that his skills are poor, so he is watching online strategy videos made by Josh Butterballs of Stupid Obvious Information Magazine. Arbiter says that online strategy videos are lame and that Chief should just read the Halo 3 instruction manual. However, Chief watches anyway, and copies down the tips that Josh gives (aiming for the head).
After trying the tips out, Chief finds that he still can't play Halo. He asks Arbiter to teach him to be good, but Arbiter says that he doesn't think there is any hope for Chief.
Chief, who is now very sad, decides to wander around Blackout. He runs into a stranger. The stranger heard Chief's situation, and said he has something that might interest him. This turns out to be cheats. Chief at first is shocked. However, he gives in, and the stranger gives him the cheats.
Arbiter is playing some matchmaking, but he notices that nobody is doing anything. He asks why, and they say there is no point, as somebody has been using numerous hacks and cheats. This somebody turns out to be Chief, of course. Arbiter tells him to stop using cheats because they'll get both Chief and Arbiter banned (since they play on the same console). Chief doesn't listen, however, a Bungie member appears in front of him and pushes him off the Valhalla base. He then takes out the banhammer (which is an actual gravity hammer), and prepares to ban Chief. Arbiter then tells him that they play on the same console and asks if they can find a way to punish Chief only and Arbiter will make sure that Chief never does it again.
It turns out that Chief got his Recon armor taken away from him. With no Recon, and still having not improved at Halo at all, Chief resorts to watching online strategy videos again.
