Double Trouble is the ninth episode of the fifth season of Arby 'n' the Chief.
Summary[]
Master Chief continues his Halo training with the Arbiter. When Arbiter tells him (to be nice) that he's making progress, Chief decides to take action and show Trent's security duo Cameron and Cody what he's made of.
Plot[]
The episode starts with Arbiter playing a match on Sword Base. He and one other player cannot find anybody on the map. The other player takes a gravity lift and lands in the room on the top floor where everyone is camping and kills him. Arbiter goes through the other way, and sees them all. He leaves, saying he has lost his faith in humanity.
After lots of practice and after Arbiter tells Chief that he is awesome at Halo, Chief goes back to the church and talks to Cameron and Cody and challenges them to a match, this time alongside Arbiter. They accept, and say that if they win again Chief cannot bother them again.
Chief tells Arbiter what he did. He is angered at first since he wanted to continue making his lines for the second Hypernews, and reveals that he said Chief was awesome to cheer him up. Chief is sad, but they go to practice for the match. Greg asks Arbiter if he wants to play scrabble, but he can't since he has to practice. Greg decides to go and play by himself, being a little upset.
After plenty of practice, Chief finally starts to become good at Halo. They meet Cameron and Cody on Sword Base, and the match starts. This time, they start out not doing great, but Chief and Arbiter eventually catch up to Cameron and Cody. By the end of the match, they are tied with them and both sides need only one more kill. They cannot find them though. Arbiter finds them camping in the same room as earlier. Chief goes in to try and kill them, but gets killed himself. After the match, Arbiter calls them out for camping, but Cameron just says "Play to win".
Later, Arbiter visits Trent Donnovich at the church. Trent invites him to his stag night before the wedding, Arbiter accepts. After that, Trent reveals that he has seen Hypernews and offers Arbiter money to sponsor his company in the next episode, and then starts a cynical speech about life and the world. Arbiter is unsure, but Trent requests for him to think about it.
