Flatline is the twenty first episode of the seventh season of Arby 'n' the Chief.

Summary[]

Eugene receives devastating news. The toys reflect on their defeat by Eugene and his co-moderators and discuss retaliation.

Plot[]

Eugene, Tyler and other members of their clan are telling offensive jokes to each other. Eugene receives a call from Dr. Harris, who informs him that Madeline's health has declined significantly, and requests that they discuss it at the hospital. Eugene asks him what happened, and is told that Madeline has passed away.

Meanwhile, Arbiter and Chief argue about their failure and discuss how they'll get back online considering that both of Jon's consoles have now been fragged. Chief considers getting a new console online, but doesn't know where Jon's wallet is. Arbiter gets out Jon's wallet from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask's case, and reveals that he hid it to stop Chief from using Jon's credit card.

Flatline - Michelle fragged

Michelle fragged.

Later on, Chief is smoking in the bathtub, where he confesses to his vision of Cortana that he smokes to take the edge off. Chief then persuades Cortana not to make him tell Arbiter about the circumstances of her disappearance because it would tarnish the duo's last bits of friendship that they have left. Cortana agrees, and later propositions Chief about them stopping their plan of attack against the trio, in which case, she'll leave if he wants her too.

Later on, Michelle confronts Eugene with the information Arbiter gave her previously and subsequently breaks up with him when it is all confirmed to be true. As she walks away, Eugene reveals to her that Madeline died. Michelle expresses sympathy, but doesn't change her decision. As she tries to leave, Eugene frags her.
