"Let's go out in a blaze of glory."
Arbiter, upon revealing his intentions on ending the threat of Eugene and his clan.

"Greenlit" is the twentieth episode of the seventh season of Arby 'n' the Chief.

Summary[]

The toys struggle with divorcing themselves from the only friends they've ever made online and defecting from the clan.

Plot[]

Arbiter is sitting in the tub while drinking some beer, reading the note from Greg he found under the oven earlier. Meanwhile Cortana is talking to Chief about Peter (the kid Colin spoke to). Chief goes online and, claiming to be a "cyber police officer", tells the kid not to join Colin's chat server. The boy agrees and goes off. Arbiter starts to talk to Chief about the situation with the kid and Colin, to which Chief responds that he took care of it already. Relieved, Arbiter asks him for a brief talk.

Arbiter states that they can't be associated with Eugene's clan any more, because he finds Eugene's actions repulsive and that they should not support it by sitting idle. Chief admits that he has begun to feel similar. Arbiter proposes to fragban the clan, to which Chief agrees after telling him that he just wanted one friend, to which Arbiter tells Chief that he is his friend and Cortana telling him that he could find a second friend in her.

They join the network and run into Michelle who says she has made it to the finals in the Halo tournament. Arbiter tells Michelle what Eugene did to Brody and that his clan is behind the massive fragban spree that has gone for 6 weeks, as well as confirming her prior suspicions of Colin by bringing up his possible pedophilia . A few minutes later, they get a voice message from Eugene and Arbiter decides to leave, after apologizing to Michelle.

Eugene sends Arbiter and Chief a message inviting them to talk about his behavior the other day. Arbiter meets up with Eugene, who asks where Chief is; Arbiter replies that he is "taking a piss", while in fact he is waiting to snipe Eugene. Arbiter charges and fires his plasma pistol at Eugene while Chief fires with his sniper rifle; however, Eugene's avatar turns out to be a hologram. Tyler fires his plasma pistol at Chief and Arbiter and Colin frags them both at the same time, with Eugene staring indifferently at Arbiter's corpse.
