Newcomers is the third episode of the second season of Arby 'n' the Chief.

Summary Edit

After the Arbiter plays a headache-inducing game with a few super serious Halo 3 players, Master Chief inquires about a mysterious package that has been delivered to Jon, the house owner, and discovers later that night that the contents of the package will change his and the Arbiter's lives forever.

Plot Edit

It is almost night time, and Master Chief is using the computer. He is on GameFAQs, criticizing Grand Theft Auto IV due to its popularity. Arbiter is playing Halo 3 at the same time, with a group of gamers who take Halo 3 very seriously. They shout at Arbiter after he is killed, losing the flag, and promt him to turn off the Xbox 360, in annoyance. Cortana arrives and informs them that it is getting late in the evening, and that they should go to bed. Before Arbiter goes, Chief notices a package and asks Arbiter what it is. Arbiter explains that it's a package for Jon that arrived earlier in the day, and tells Chief not to stay up too late.

The following morning, Chief is woken up at 3:43 AM by a loud sound. He notices the package has been opened, and anxiously grabs a knife. After he acquires it, he notices two new action figures have approached him and screams, waking up Arbiter and Cortana. One of them apologizes for waking them and says they were just looking for something to eat. They introduce themselves as Todd and Travis. Chief and Travis look at together, while Arbiter, Cortana and Todd converse with each other. Todd and Cortana start to develop a romantic relationship after discovering a mutual interest. Chief, who watches from the computer, is instantly angered.
