Summary[]
Master Chief and the Arbiter face off with Trent Donnovich, who has been revealed to be behind Chaos Theosis and their attack on the network.
Plot[]
The episode begins immediately after "Severance", with Arbiter, Chief and Trent Donnovich on the church bridge. Trent reveals the effects of PDoS, where the hacks used by Arbiter, Chief and Chaos Theosis came from, and how the TOSERS were defeated. Afterwards, Justin ambushes Arbiter and Chief while Trent makes his escape. Chief goes after him while Arbiter frags Justin. Chief arrives just as Trent flies away in a falcon and attempts to frag him with his Spartan Laser, but misses. Arbiter and Chief then follow Trent to another server, where they meet with Clyde, who reveals that he had another console. The three fight while Trent escapes again.
Taking cover behind a Warthog that is getting quickly destroyed, Arbiter doubts that they will save the OMN before getting killed, but Chief reassures him that "it r not over til its over". Arbiter composes himself before jumping out from behind the warthog and firing. Roughly ten minutes later, Trent meets with Arbiter, who is disguised as Clyde. Arbiter prepares to frag Trent, but Chief arrives and splatters Trent with a tank instead, much to their surprise. Later on, Arbiter and Chief find Stephen in a multiplayer match and frag him, completely ending the threat posed by Chaos Theosis.
Allen Radcliffe later commends the duo for stopping the hacker threat and apologizes to all that were affected by the hacks by offering coupons. Arbiter and Chief then meet with the fragged TOSERS, Cameron, Cody, and Kevin, who congratulate the duo for stopping Chaos Theosis and Trent. While Chief and the others talk, Arbiter meets up with Claire, who reveals that she is dating someone, as a result of her stepping out into the world since Chaos Theosis banned her. Arbiter expresses his happiness for her before she bids Arbiter farewell, telling him to "never change". Claire then walks away, with Arbiter wishing her good luck.
Some time later, Chief finds Arbiter drowning his sorrows again in the bathtub. Arbiter confesses that he is "worthless" and that he is going to "die alone," crying in sadness for the first time before Chief. In a shocking display of comfort, Chief helps Arbiter feel better by hugging him to make him feel better, apologizing for saying that he "hated" him.
However, two weeks pass and things go back to the way they were before with Chief being obnoxious and Arbiter being depressed. Right before another fight breaks out between the toys, the apartment bell rings, and Chief climbs the wall and finds out through the intercom that it is a delivery man with a package for Arbiter. Chief signs the papers and the package is delivered. Arbiter opens the package and is sent flying back. Greg comes out of the box, much to the shock of Arbiter and Chief. Arbiter asks why he came in a box, and Greg reveals that he had brought an "old friend" with him. Arbiter looks inside the box and finds none other than Cortana, who apparently was lost in the move from Jon's old place.
One week later, Chief, Cortana and Greg stand side-by-side while Arbiter prepares a camera. Arbiter then stands next to Chief as the camera automatically takes a picture of the four - happily reunited.
Post-credits scene[]
After the credits, we see a continue screen, reminiscent to the one in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, pop up with a countdown from 10 to 0. The screen flashes quickly with 1 second remaining, meaning that the continue has been activated. This implies that season 6 is not the last season of Arby 'n' the Chief, and that a Season 7 will be produced.
It was confirmed via a trailer released on March 24, 2012 that season 7 will be produced, with the season premiere, "Reapers", being released April 7, 2012.

Reception[]
Since the episode's release, "The Reunion" has been met with unanimous positive reception, with many considering it to be one of the best episodes of the show.
Trivia[]
- Originally the episode was to air on February 3rd, but was delayed until the 11th of Feburary because Jon had too much school work and lack of sleep. On February 10th, Jon revealed in his blog that the episode had been delayed for a second time, with the upload date being February 18th.
- There is a continuity error in the episode. When Trent escapes from Arbiter and Master Chief from his church map, the countdown is around 10:40. When Clyde confronts them and Trent escapes on Breakpoint, the timer is around 12:37, Jon stated that this error annoyed him in a blog update posted shortly after the release of the episode.
- Kevin has the wrong color scheme in this episode; he is depicted with Justin's armor colors. It is possible that Arbiter gave him Justin's profile out of gratitude for saving him in "Blackout".
- Before Trent is crushed by Chief's tank, the countdown time is only 00:07 seconds remaining. This is a possible reference to the previous episode, the timer appears with only 14:53 left, and Bungie's love of the number seven.
- This is the third longest running episode in the series, behind "Fatal Exception" and "Endgame".
- When Chief appears on Stephen's scope when he is zoomed in with the sniper rifle, Chief's gamertag can be seen as "Player 1".
