Travis was one of the two supporting characters, alongside Todd in Season 2 of the Arby 'n' the Chief series. He was an action figure of a Brute Chieftain manufactured by McFarlane Toys.

Personality

Travis' behaviour was very similar to Master Chief's. Although they got along at first, this doesn't last. He seems to be very blunt, as when he first met the other action figures, the first thing he did was ask if they have any beer. Like Chief, he enjoyed Lolcats.com and porn. He also enjoyed playing Xbox 360 games with Arbiter, including Grand Theft Auto IV and Halo 3. However, when they played Grand Theft Auto IV, Travis continuously tried to give Arbiter orders. Travis was also a fan of DarkSpireStudios.

History

Season 2

In "Newcomers", He was delivered to Jon's house in a package along with Todd. They broke out of the package the following morning at 3:43 AM and met Master Chief, Arbiter and Cortana. Travis spent most of the time with Chief, looking at Lolcats.com on the computer and playing Xbox 360 with Arbiter. He later betrayed Chief's trust by tricking him into saying something highly offensive to Cortana, prompting her to slap him into a wall, which Travis laughed at. As a result, Chief attempted to murder Travis (and Todd for stealing Cortana's affection) at night time, but was stopped by Arbiter and Cortana.

Disappearance & Death

The day after Chief attempted to kill him, Travis mysteriously disappeared along with Todd. While the other toys wondered what happened to them (Arbiter and Cortana believing Chief had killed them), they never attempted to find them. In reality, they had been kidnapped by an alien named Zanthar, which also kidnapped Cortana later. Before they were kidnapped, Travis deleted the 'Cold Storage' map from Jon's Xbox in a weird bid to warn them of what happened, it didn't work and even Travis and Todd acknowledged it wouldn't have worked.

The alien allowed Travis and Todd to play one last game of Halo 3 before eating them alive. Coincidentally, in their last game, the two stumbled upon Chief and Arbiter, though for unknown reasons, didn't tell them who they were. After the match ended due to it turning into a free for all after the players finished debating over their media interests, Travis and Todd were raped and murdered by Zanthar whilst Cortana was jettisoned into a sun, as the aliens had no interest in females (though Cortana's fate was retconned).

Legacy

Years later in "Genesis", whilst Master Chief was drawing a penis on a wall, a drunk Arbiter goes on a rant about mortality and morality. After an argument with Chief about the drawing and his damaged relationship with Claire Ferguson, he laments on the friends they've lost, mentioning Greg first, then Cortana, before saying that he even missed Todd and Travis, causing Chief to walk out, sick of his constant drunken rants.

Reception

He along with Todd were met with mixed reception among fans. Later on, many people (including Jon) found them both to not be interesting enough for the series, and they were gotten rid of shortly after. Many fans also found Travis to be annoying due to his constant loud complaining about everything around him.
