...since "Black" hasn't been released yet, I figured we can all kill some time as a community by pooling our opinions together and molding concepts for a hypothetical eighth season of? Arby 'n' the Chief.
Me and fellow contributor Antihero have shared our ideas for an eighth season in the chat multiple times, but we haven't really thought out a neat concept for one. So, I think this is a good opportunity to do so.
Here's my idea:
Season 8 would focus on a Halo online tournament that Arbiter and Chief decide to enter based on the fact that the winner's reward is $500,000. Upon entering, Arbiter and Chief find the tournament is comprised of tag teams, and ten sequences containing three rounds each. Each sequence will determine the winning tag team. Among the other tag teams include Michelle, Craig from Season 3 and several other pre-established characters.
As the story arc continues to unfold, Arbiter and Chief stumble upon a conspiracy within the moderation council for the tournament. The details of the conspiracy include the winner(s) being forced to give their personal passwords to their bank accounts, e-mails, etc. with the intent of robbing them blind. At the climax of the arc, Arbiter and Chief win the tournament, and as a "final match" of sorts, the duo are forced to combat each other for the money. Refusing to do so, Arbiter and Chief stop the moderation council and divulge their secret plan to the OMN.
